Hey so like I love space, I do (I'm a Star Trek blog ffs), but I really truly need everyone to critically examine what Artemis II actually means within the context of American imperialism in 2026. I'm all for "woah, cool science" but Artemis II and NASA's other planned moon missions (especially the planned moon base) are NOT divorced from the political context of American expansionism, violence, and fascism.

Update on my crush that no one asked for: our college theatre group hosted drunk mean girls karaoke on saturday and I showed up after a TEN HOUR SHIFT at my job, started drinking straight vodka and got absolutely plastered (shocking). She was also plastered and we briefly ran away to roll down a hill together and then spent the rest of the night cuddling on the floor of the theatre (we fell asleep for two hours). Cool. What do I make of this. What does this mean. She also took my shirt off
