#animation matters

Okay so I went to the K Pop demon hunters sing along event today and while it was such a magical experience I just have to gush for a second about how absolutely adorable the little girl and her dad that I was seated next to was!

This little girl couldn't have been more than 5 and was waving these 2 foam swords around While singing along and quietly repeating the talking parts of the dialogue. And everytime Zoey showed up on screen this would get so excited and oh my god the whole thing was absolutely precious and I am gonna remember that little girl for the rest of my life.

And the best part was she wasn't the only one that was excited, in that theater, everybody shared the same energy as her in their own way, despite the fact that she was one out of 2 of the only a little girls in the theater in the showing I was in! Moments like That is why I love animation and it's specific talent at storytelling as a medium.

Because it brings out so much joy and togetherness in people even if they otherwise would have nothing else in common with each other through its inherent ability of deep expressiveness And intricate tiny details. Animation such a beautiful and versatile medium capable of doing things that live action could simply never even dream of, much less portray in a way that is emotionally meaningful or compelling.

And I hope Kpop demon hunters is the start of an age where people really start to see animation as medium from which any story could be told instead of just a genre for kids

Because there's both so many more stories that are amazingly told through animation and so many more stories that would be better told through the medium of animation.

Anyway I apologize for the ramblyness of this post but I suppose it doesn't really matter how rambly or not rambly it is because it's my blog and I can post whatever I like.

So to summarize I love K Pop Demon Hunters and animation and sincerely hope that people go on and continue appreciating both of those things with an absurd amount of love, the amount of love that those things deserves just like that little girl I shared a theatre with did!

Hailey's On It! is a Disney Channel show, it's great, and it's about to end after ONE. FLIPPING. SEASON! We need Disney to STOP ending these

The petition to save this UNDERATED classic gem of a cartoon. I’d say all works of animation deserve their time in the limelight and we shouldn’t obscure any other projects because of stopping others from doing what they love to do.

Where just need 30 signers left.

Just dropping a quick post to tell you to show support to all the great creators of Disney & their animated works,

regardless of Disney controversies, even though they had their comeuppance.

yes we all know these shows listed don't have the same criteria in meeting popular standards in today's biggest impactful cartoons which I find unfair to the rest batch of new generational artists who are starting out, and you don't get to see them be at local or big comic cons nowadays cause there now as revered as today's WOKE agenda to follow through cartoons.

as a lover of the company, I do feel we should show support to some of these talented creators just wanting to do what they love is entertaining and showing their love for animation as an art form,

And make sure to show love to the voice actors, cause they deserve all the praise, with a post ill do which I'll discuss later.

cause the pay rate for them has been abysmal these past years

I just want the reader that you all give these excellent shows on the hashtags below a chance even if they're not as popular or hit in popular fandoms (glad the ones I hashtag below arent hostile to others) because there's always room to love even spread, growth for all to make animation spaces better..
