Once a month Dashi and Kwazii get together for a huuuge spa night. They go all out, with clay face masks, cucumbers over the eyes, paining each other’s nails, etc. They hang out in Dashi’s room and listen to nothing but Chappell Roan.
It’s canon in the books that one of Kwazii’s favorite hobbies is to take long baths. Ergo I believe he has a 10 step skin care routine and he takes way too long of showers and baths to Tweak’s dismay. He loves getting all sparkly clean and pampering himself. So does Dashi, and she considers the spa nights as a much needed self care routine.
The spa nights started soon after Dashi joined the Octonauts when she caught Kwazii doing his skin care routine while wearing a very fancy pink bathrobe. (He unironically wears it after every time he bathes) So this prompted her to ask if he wanted to have a spa night with her and he happily agreed. It became a little tradition from there, and the spa nights were how they became good friends. :3
Every once in a while Tweak will join them, but only because Kwazii and Dashi have to drag her to them. They do this when Tweak is clearly overworking herself and is in need of a break and some pampering. Tweak complains about attending, but she “secretly” enjoys the spa nights (she’s not very good at hiding her enjoyment to Dashi and Kwazii’s delight)
Lol just wanted to dump a lil headcanon I have bc I think Kwazii and Dashi’s friendship is underrated. I will most certainly be drawing this <3
