Here, beneath a streetlight on an otherwise quiet street, with the shopping bags piled at their feet, Dream understood what love was supposed to feel like.
It was an explosion of warmth from his chest. With every beat of his heart, waves of heat spilled out from the epicenter. Kissing George was warm, it was gentle, it was what love really felt like.
When they disconnected from the kiss, their cheeks were flushed, both of their eyes bright under the dark sky.
“Wow,” Dream breathed. “Is that what that’s supposed to feel like?”
“Yeah,” George said, looking up at Dream. “It is.”

Dream gets a girlfriend, and it's only years later, after her, that he falls in love

One would assume that the captain of the football team and the captain of the cheerleading team would be close, maybe even dating. But not Dream and George. They're sworn enemies after an incident years ago that George refuses to let go of. They both constantly push each others buttons, toeing the line just so. Every conversation they have devolves into an argument, it's a never ending battle that they both refuse to give up.
It all changes though, when George makes a bet with the rest of the cheer team.
One date with Dream, that's all he has to do.
Or
Dream and George hate each other, but when George makes a bet with his team, Dream reluctantly agrees to go out with him. And when no one is convinced, they go all in. Dream just hopes they don't destroy any remaining shreds of civility they have before the bet is over.
Super happy with this one, it took me I kid you not, a half hour to do the summary cause between the italics and the blockquotes I was really hitting those character limits.
With one year of college done, Dream, George and Sapnap move in together. Dream is excited, he loves being around them and he loves being able to spend all their downtime together. They're happy, Dream is free from the worries of his youth. At least that's what he thinks.
Then the dark cloud that threatened him during the school year descends on him full force and he finds that even the sunniest days feel bleak and dreary. Dream tries to hide it, tries to be the person his friends expect him to be. It only takes one rainy day for his facade to crumble. And when it does, they're there for him. They love him, they care for them and help him even as he falls.
Dealing with all of this and emerging feelings for George isn't easy, but he keeps going. And with his friends by his side, he knows he can get through anything.
from sunshine to snowstorms (but snowstorms hold more warmth)
Dream and Sapnap had been online friends for ages when they both got accepted to the same college up north. Deciding to take life by the horns, they move in together despite never having actually met in person. It turns out to be the best decision Dream's ever made, and after they meet George, a transfer student from the UK, it only gets better.
Slowly, Dream starts falling for George. Between his dark eyes, sharp humour and mischievous smile, Dream finds himself drawn to George and it scares him. He ignores his feelings as best as he can, but in the end, it was all for naught.
Here, under the light, Dream thought he looked especially pretty. Cheeks still slightly flushed from the crisp autumn air, hair tucked beneath a hat and the light from the restaurant making his skin look golden, eyes shining with happiness.
He felt that magnetic tug again, the one that wanted him to get closer to George, to keep only the barest of atoms-reach of separation between them.
Swallowing, he looked away. Not now. He didn’t want to unpack those feelings just yet, if ever.
