Treetop Gazers V2.0 - Preview

Hello guys HallowsWright95 here back with the first build of 2016 (or a preview at least anyway). Welcome to Treetop Gazers

Treetop Gazers is a state of the art attraction new for Jurassic World. The attraction was in conceptual phase just before the Isla Nublar Incident of 2015. Here I intend to create a sprawling exhibit that showcases the mighty sauropods in all their glory. Take the walkway and browse at the many dinosaurs on display, Treetop Gazers will have 4 species on display upon opening. Apatosaurus and Brachiosaurus will be on display in their own areas of the attraction. Apatosaur Grove, Brachiosaur Bridge, Camarasaur Creek and Diplodocus Springs will all be ready for visitors when the park opens with Camarasaurus and Diplodocus added shortly after along with the creation of new areas within the attraction for other species of sauropod. Don’t want to walk the entire length and breadth of Treetop Gazers? Not a problem, opening soon are jeep tours that take you through the vast area that is Treetop Gazers although please not seats are limited and tours are timed. It has been a while ...

Howdy guys, HallowsWright95 here. Sorry I haven’t posted in a while but I’ve busy with a fair few things but fear not I am back at a more regular posting rate until mid December. Firstly I will update you on the points I mentioned in the previous post and I’ll inform you of some exciting new things too. So without further ado lets get straight into it.

Updates

1) My custom PC has arrived and works perfectly. My Isla Nublar map is 83% complete as far as landscaping and terraforming is concerned. The map will be ready for when my series starts in January/February next year and hopefully I’ll have a few more enclosures and exhibits set up by then too so we have a good place to start the series.

2) I still intend to run the first series for atleast 50 episodes but the Jurassic World project as a whole will run on much longer than that. My channel trailer, which will be released around the same time as the christmas trailer, will show off some of my other projects I plan to do in-between Jurassicraft updates and other mod updates including my second series although you won’t know what exactly the second series will be as all the projects I am doing/plan to do will be in the channel trailer.

3) Nothing new to report here really. The Pachy Arena lighting issue has been fixed and a maintenance alley that leads into the arena has been added and is ready to accept its residents when they are added to the mod. The Petting Zoo has been expanded with more banners and behind the scenes areas for staff and dinosaurs. The overall sea bed still needs lowering but I shall leave this until last as I want the island to sit right before lowering the sea bed. I am still working on movie locations, The Gallimimus Log, The Indominus Ambush and The Brachiosaur Lake to name but a few. So in retrospective there is intact something new to report here.

4) I still only plan to add the Dodo and the Leptictidium to my Jurassic World however I can confirm that I plan to add as many of the pterosaurs and marine creatures as possible. As you are reading this post Kronosaurus and Elasmosaurus have already been allocated an exhibit to live in and a Tylosaurus exhibit is currently in conceptual phase.

That’s it for updates but now lets get on to new features and announcements:

1) I have decided that the series will be part let’s build and part role-play. If you look at Smithy MC’s series and also at Seri! Pixel Biologist!’s series it will be a combination of both of those. I have tested it and I’m positive it will work to the desired effect.

2) Smithy MC has just moved onto the Jurassicraft Isla Nublar map. Unfortunately the Pachy Arena I built that I allowed Smithy MC to use is too big and ultimately Smithy has rightfully decide to move my arena elsewhere on the island and use it for another creature or 2. Smithy has allowed me to choose 2 creatures for the arena however I am yet to give him my choice. This is because I have some ideas about how he can use my arena for his own purposes and that I have updated the arena solving the lighting issue so stay tuned to this blog, my twitter, Smithy’s twitter and Smithy’s YouTube channel for any updates on the movement of the build. Smithy will also be building his own Pachy Arena to replace the one I built.

3) I have removed the Securitycraft mod for now until the 1.8 version is stabilised enough for me to consider re adding it again.

Fancy seeing you here

Hello guys HallowsWright95 here with the latest.

Those of you that follow my Twitter and/or subscribe to my YouTube channel will know that over the past few days I have been extremely busy with videos and planning for my series. Finally I have found the time to spare to write a blog post bringing you all the latest juicy news about my Jurassic World project.

1) My custom PC is currently being built and will be on its way to me shortly. The minute it arrives I will be uploading my Isla Nublar project into WorldPainter on there and I will crack on with landscaping and terraforming Isla Nublar so that by the time my series starts we will be able to build loads of new attractions and add loads of new dinosaurs, marine creatures and pterosaurs to the exhibits and the island.

2) Whilst on the topic of my series I currently plan to run the first series for 50 episodes. Whilst I would love to do a continuously running series like Smithy MC who is fast approaching 200 episodes, my schedule (university and other stuff) simply won’t allow it but there is a silver lining to this. I will be starting a second YouTube series to run alongside series 2 of Jurassic World but what this second series is will remain a mystery ... for now.

3) I have been working on my map. The Petting Zoo is 90% complete including decorations and tweaks. The Pachy Arena is 99% complete (just tidying the last of the lighting issues up). T-Rex Kingdom is 100% complete. The East Dock is 90% complete, the sea bed needs lowering and the left beach needs tuning. Plus many, many more builds and special areas (The log area in Gallimimus Valley and the Indominus Jungle Ambush to name just 2 of the special areas).

4) Whilst Jurassicraft adds LOADS of new dinosaurs, pterosaurs, sea creatures and other animals both extinct and non-extinct I am not going to be adding all of them. For example Titanboa, Hyaenadon and Andrewsuchus have been announced to be aded to the mod however I will not be adding them into my world. In fact the only 2 non-dinosauric creatures I intend to add to my world are Leptictidium and Dodo. So when my series is released please don’t request any creatures as I already have plans but feel free to suggest names for dinos :D
