I want a 10th villager, but I don't want to risk the possibility of their house being somewhere inconvenient, like an open field where i plan to place public works or in the middle of a path. Is there anyway to predict where they may move, or prevent said spots to be moved on?
You can place public works projects in areas you don't want them to move on in the meantime but they can still move in really close to it, paying for a lot of PWPs is kind of a waste of money too just to secure a tiny area, the only way you can control where they are moving in are doing the reset trick
