tfe starbee makes sense because now they've BOTH lost their family. the decepticons - INCLUDING THE SEEKERS - left starscream, and now he has no one else to support him even remotely, and skywarp and novastorm have been by his side as close as they could
meanwhile bumblebee went through his brother choosing the decepticons over him AGAIN (first time in the war, second time during the finale of s1 (even if he came back he still left) and now here), in the new season saying the decepticons are his family, too
and even though bumblebee has the terrans (and i will always say they are as close as a family can get) they aren't cybertronian and he hasn't been with them as long as he was with breakdown
so now they both have betrayal fresh on their minds. do you see what i'm saying. it's CRAZY how it all connects you HAVE to believe me-
