I used to cook regularly until Things happened and my ASD support needs nuked my capacity for complex tasks. I still do some spontaneous things, usually baking, but spouse does the majority of the cooking. But spouse is sixk this evening.
So I made three whole things for dinner....a yellow rice packet, one of those pasta sides, and oven fish fillets. I have the opposite of the white ppl problem: I put a bunch of random spices in things. We have a lot of them. My usual strategy is "throw enough stuff in there and it'll eventually taste good."
It does not, in fact, taste very good. I'm not sure how I managed to make relatively neutral carbs taste so strange.
