so the other day me and friends were looking for an additive functor Ab -> Ab that preserves surjections, but is not right-exact. we eventually found the one given by G -> G/Torsion works. then we wanted to look for an additive functor Ab -> Ab that preserves injections but is not left exact. we did not find one. i searched till 4am and did not find one. this is so fun, i love math

Today in math we played quizzlet live and there was like 5 people with the same name and everyone was running around  yelling “Who’s Jane?!?” (not the real name).

ppl who think the gender binary is excessive now : ppl who followed pythagoras (guy who did the pythagorean theorem) thought that odd numbers were male and female numbers were female
