when i was younger i asked my mom to let me use her email to make a fanfiction.net account so i could post my warrior cats fanfiction
i of course found out years later that she absolutely hated to hear me talk about warrior cats because i did it so much and for so long that none of it made sense to her so shed just kind of... sit there and take it
anyways, even more years later (now) i wonder if i should tell her that i still write fanfiction as an adult but this time instead of writing about cats i write about grown men getting into increasingly precarious situations so that way i can use her as a free beta reader for my works
mostly im agonizing over this decision because i tell her im going to write and shell be like, 'yes! go write, you can do it!' and im motivated by that, but then the other day she asked 'how long is this novel youre working on?'
at what point do i just tell her there is no novel and there never has been... im just putting a man in a Situation
