One little detail I’ve been digging about comics is nowadays is how superheroes are seen using smartphones on duty.

Not in the sense that superheroes are starting to take selfies, but in the sense that modern technology has now made it possible for a phone, computer, camera and more to be held into one simple gadget.

So is it really implausible a non-powered, depends-on-the-gadgets hero would carry around a smartphone? Perhaps one separate from their personal phone to preserve the secret identity?
