I suddenly wondered how the residents of Crystal Cove reacted to the fact that the «missing» kids returned to their town twenty years later, after they were most likely declared dead?
It's not only about Brad and Judy, in whose honour a welcome party was held, which could be attended by people who knew them, but also about Ricky and Cassidy. Because, I repeat, Crystal Cove is a DAMN LITTLE TOWN, where information, by definition, spreads quickly.
The mayor Jones was arrested. Cassidy got her name back. She OFFICIALLY (as I understand) got her name back. She was present during the arrest of Fred Jones Sr. and, most likely, gave herself up after he told his story. I just can't help but imagine that after the Scooby Gang left, she didn't pounce on him. I even had the idea that after that she was even a witness in the case of Jones Sr. So after a while, most of the townspeople knew that she had returned to Crystal Cove.
Then Brad and Judy came back, and they, as it turned out, host their own TV show about traps, and are also Fred's biological parents.
Did it give people topics for gossip? Yes.
Then Ricky went to the police station to claim that Scooby Gang illegally penetrated the territory of his corporation and destroyed one of his laboratories. He wrote an application against them to the sheriff's station under his real name... After that, Sheriff Stone and Mayor Nettles, most likely, realised that all the «missing» kids were in Crystal Cove.
And then Professor Pericles, along with Brad and Judy, became frequent guests in «Destroido». Some employees clearly heard about the return of «missing» kids and about the parrot maniac, who was accused of their disappearance, because they live in a small town.
It will be quite logical if they have a question:
«How is the boss connected with them?»
I think it will take some time before they realise everything. All the «missing» kids, except for one, whose pet was the same maniac parrot, returned to Crystal Cove. One again disappeared from the radars as quickly as she appeared, and those two and that suspicious parrot communicate with their boss as if they knew him from the school bench.
The answer is self-efse, if you know what I mean...
