A while ago there where two handyman at my workplace. They had work to do in our office and we talked for a bit. After they left I found a number written on some paper on my desk (I had to leave cause they did something directly over it).
I put the number in my phone, cause I wanted to know which one it is but due do maybe obvious reasons (like me being a happy non partnering aroace) I didn't write him.
A few weeks later, he somehow found me on snpachat??? And I chatted a bit with him, but it was actually just me asking how he found me (to which he didn't reply except saying he searched on Facebook, but I'm not there and I mean, he had my first name and my workplace, like???)
And him saying I'm pretty and asking if I'm single to which I replied I'm aroace and then continued to explain it to him and he's just like "so you never have sex?" "But do you still have a type for a man?" And my first thought was, if that's everything he's interested in but yeah...
And im like "no, I'm not interested in it" qnd after he asked I explained "yes, I've basically always known but didn't always have a word for it" and he's like "yeah, but maybe you'll find someone" and I'm like "that's kinda aphobic and doesn't do anything than annoy me" qnd he's like "oh, okay." To then be in the next message like "maybe you'll find someone, how old are you?" And I just think like??????? Are you even reading what I'm typing??????
So yeah, he asked me for my hobbies and while thinking "apparently blocking you" I blocked him😂
So now - did I act right or should I have continued to chat with him to at least become his friend cause I'm limiting myself and missing out (according to my mom) eventhough I've probably wouldn't have been comfortable when he so clearly wants something from me?😂
