Since We’re going to have to live without Kissanime for a while, here’s some other sites:
(September 1st update: I’ve added some more since my first version of this post after checking out some other suggestions)
This was one of the first safe (not virus-inducing) sites my friends introduced me to. It only carries English Dubs, which means it doesn’t have as many shows or any of the new ones, but it’s good for popular ones and Movies. Has pop-up ads and various unreliable video sources.
This one was my go-to for Anime before discovering Kissanime. It has a wide range of anime, includeing some newer ones. This is my recomended fallback. Has pop-up ads and various unreliable video sources
I haven’t used this one much, but someone suggested it. It seems to be a lot like Anilinkz. From what I can tell, mostly subs. Has pop-up ads and various unreliable video sources.
Although I don’t think it has as many varieties of anime, this one still seems to be pretty good. It has some of both subs and dubs. It doesn’t have any pop-up ads, and I get the feeling it’s their own video player.
It uses various independent video sources, but I think it has a wide variety and I don’t think I’ve encountered any pop-ups. However, there are still some ads associated with the video players and on the site itself.
I’ve heard about this one a lot. It doesn’t have pop-ups, the video player is good, and I think it’s their own video source. The one thing is, I believe you’re limited to how much you can watch without a premium account (I can’t say for sure, but I’m pretty sure I remember getting stopped in the middle of an episode on this site because I didn’t have premium).
I don’t see any pop-ups and the video seems reliable, though there are other ads associated with the video player and on the site. Seems to have a decent selection of subs.
Ads and pop-ups galore. Various independent video sources. Decent selection of subs though. Personally, I would go for something else.
Let’s call this one Kissanime’s little brother. Not near as well formatted as big brother, nor does he have the selection. Decent video player with it’s own source (I think). Still, he has the family name so it might be worth a try.
I used to use this one when I was desperate. I remember having issues with the video players and pop-ups. However, It also has some western cartoons as well.
I haven’t seen any pop-ups or adds, and the video player and source looks really great. It have a very wide variety. I think this is the one I’ll recommend.
For all of these, type it in your search-bar with the correct ending (.com, .org, .tv, ect) otherwise you might not get the right thing. I knew at one point there was something questionable at justdubs.com, so be careful.
Unfortunatly, none of these have Kissanime’s lack of popup ads or independent video player, so you’re going to have to exit out of any popup ads and click a few buttons to get to your video. I tried to figure out which of these had dangerous ads in the video players or in the site itself, so check the comments about each site before trying it. As a general rule, when you’re going into a site you’re not familiar with, proceed with caution.
If you know of any other good ones, please add to this post (especially if you know one that has Tokyo Ghoul Jack, I couldn’t find it in any of these!)
