So from the limited bits of physical description we get I gather he's definitely NOT supposed to look like this, but I am full on unable to picture Imp in any other way:

Today's Celtic character of the day is Justforkix from Asterix who is Gaul (ancient Celt). He is from the Gallo-Roman town of Lutetia, now Paris, France.

Day 1 of archiving Apollo's fictional soulmates across media (working title)

My silly project of finding and detailing characters from media, that are just apollo-core in nature - considering mostly the riordanverse.

Note that this is not supposed to be an analysis of the character's nor the work's quality or message.

Nr. 1 - Justforkix (Asterix and the Vikings 2006 film adaptation)

Ok where do I start with that guy? Perhaps with the fact that he is essentially a pathetic blond guy. Maybe THE most pathetic blond guy - the plot of the film is literally, that he is kidnapped by the vikings, because they believe as the "Champion of fear" he'll be able to teach them how to fly. Also he's the stereotype of a wimpy, arrogant teenager.

He is suave, vain, trendy, considered attractive and carries a sense of self-importance. He is alienated by the rural living situation of the Gauls' village and constantly whines about it - their music is boring, their food way below his health and ethical standarts and their dance moves not up to date. He declares himself a vegetarian and a pacefist as well as being a party-person - total GenZ carricature. He's also not a morning person, but that at least correlates with mortal Apollo/Lester in TOA

My guy arrives in a sports chariot! (in the comic it's specifically from Mediolanum - Milan)

During the village's welcome feast, he storms the stage, summons background disco music out of nowhere and teaches the entire village trendy, lutecian dance moves. Iconic

He generally has a tendency to start dance parties whereever he goes, including the viking village where he is held prisoner

Also he's a ladies-man because of course he is

Then of course he's pathetic (in the best way srly I love him) He gets scared of everything, doesn't like workout and has those pesky, liberal ethics (remember he's a pacefist and a vegetarian) Gross! Be a man! No don't ily

also he has the best expressions in the entire film sksks

The boys teaching him how to hunt gives strong Apollo and Artemis camping trip vibes

He gets a girlfriend, who can totally kick his butt and is named like a popular swedish pop band

Scared of water?

He's such a damsel I love him
