This is another update on my situation, to catch up to speed, please read my pinned post.

No trigger warnings, just me and you, the reader

I made the flight to California to pickup E's bike, and hauled it back home

It's looking beautiful... I love this bike

We're currently turning it into a trike so he can ride safely, and we, me, my family, and his family, love the idea, and we're going to do it in a way where we can easily turn it back to its original state... We also got some parts for it too!

E's setup is as follows:

2023 Surron frame, powder coated Berry blue, EBMX9000 Controller, 72v 30amp battery, a stock motor, some prickly parts

What we turned his bike into, after needed repairs and fixes

2023 Surron frame, powder coated Berry Blue, now battle scared /ref, EMBX9000 controller, 72v 40amp chi battery, a new 2025 stock surron motor, new front forks and rear, new street tires and prickly parts!

In terms of recovery, E is doing good. He hasn't had any seizures lately, his speech is better, and he took his first, medically assisted, steps, we are so proud of him, so so so proud of him

He has been an absolute unit throughout all of this, and I want to thank all of you for the love you've shown both me and E, it means so much to me, since E has no idea I'm even on Tumblr

I come bearing both good and bad news.

E is now in a medically induced comma. His lung is collapsing and his brain damage is spreading according to experts. I didn't know brain damage could spread, let alone how his condition is worsening under medical attention. I saw him a few days ago and without any other words, he's borderline disabled. He can barely speak and when he can it's slurred. He can't control his movements at times, and at times he stares off for extended periods of time. He is miserable to be around because of it, not out of annoyance, but out of pity and empathy that he is the way he is right now without anything I can do to help. His eyes were bloodshot, they claim it's normal for his condition, I doubt it. A part of me tells me they are lying to me, I don't understand it, I don't understand why people are this cruel. I miss my friend. I miss how he was before all of this.

This feels like my fault, I could have done more to stop them from doing this to him and I didn't. I hate those two bastards so much.

To shift the light, police in my area have been contacting us asking us questions about the incident, to me it sounds like they are making progress, for me it's something to put some better thought of mind at. How long that will last is out of my understanding.

His bike has begun being rebuilt by an expert in California, the shipping of all the parts was ludicrous, fucking stupid how expensive stuff is.

I'm sorry this was more of a rant than update, I have a lot on my platter to handle, even after all of this time.

I was really hoping to not make this post, but it's time that I do.

It comes with great sorrow that I announce the passing of Everett, or as you guys know him as "E"

He had surgery to help take pressure off his skull, which is what doctors believe was causing him to continue to have seizures. That surgery backfired, and ended up making things worse. I found out a few days ago from his parents, we are currently debating on plans on pursuing his abusers for murder charges, beyond what we are already pushing for.

I ask that you give me space from social media, again. Im likely going to take down the posts about the situation out of my own comfort on this. I am sorry to disappoint you all with this, but I need to be transparent before i disappear again. Thank you for your support.

You will be missed, you absolute speed demon. I love you Everett.
