I was really hoping to not make this post, but it's time that I do.

It comes with great sorrow that I announce the passing of Everett, or as you guys know him as "E"

He had surgery to help take pressure off his skull, which is what doctors believe was causing him to continue to have seizures. That surgery backfired, and ended up making things worse. I found out a few days ago from his parents, we are currently debating on plans on pursuing his abusers for murder charges, beyond what we are already pushing for.

I ask that you give me space from social media, again. Im likely going to take down the posts about the situation out of my own comfort on this. I am sorry to disappoint you all with this, but I need to be transparent before i disappear again. Thank you for your support.

You will be missed, you absolute speed demon. I love you Everett.

this is kind of a short yap because i need to do stuff but here you go

Do you know German Expressionism? It was basically an artistic movement that started in the 1910s in predominantly Germany (duh) but also other European countries which was (somewhat predictably) about expressing the way people perceive things emotionally rather than reality. It spanned across many different art mediums including physical art (The Scream is a really famous example), literature, dance, and film. Some famous examples are M (1931), the Cabinet of Dr. Caligari (1920), Metroplolis (1927) and Nosferatu (1922). There's a whole host of characteristics that belong to German Expressionist film, and actually very few movies hit all categories. But probably the first one that comes to mind is the way that the movies look: They have sets often inspired by monumentalism that lots of jagged or unrealistic shapes; They typically use very stark lighting, have symbolic shadows, and are visually distorted; actors typically wear very impressive or unrealistic costumes and makeup. I'm going to put some photos here now:
