he is awesome! he has been so, so great. he hasn't exactly been following the events, but he understands generally what's going on and he's asked me about them and we've talked about police violence and staying conscious. i really want him to be an educated, woke person, and he's just so fundamentally a good kid. i was running around the house trying to gather up stuff to bring into the march in case of emergency, and he just goes, "oh, i have my boy scout stuff still together from the camping trip! do you want to borrow that?" and when i came back, the first thing he said was "i hope you didn't need any of the stuff i lent you!" and besides the water, i hadn't.

he is a great kid.

Just to keep you updated: I did end up following him back. He's followed by Deadline Hollywood, and any place that wouldn't hire me because I'm following a gay porn star on Twitter is probably not a place I'd be happy working at anyway ;-).
