Wardrobe headcanon
Willow said her mother picked out her season 1 clothes for her, but actually, she said that because she didn’t want to get bullied even more when she said she actually kind of liked the closes she wore in Season 1. They were... comfortable and familiar and nice to wear.

“do it. i dare you." willow/amy
“Do it.” Willow said, glaring at Amy, her arms crossed in front of her. “I dare you. Do it - if you have the guts.”
Amy held up her hands, taking a step back. “Come on, come on Willow, look, I promise, I won’t. Just - yoy know, stop giving me the death glare already.”
“This isn’t a death glare,” Willow clarified, or perhaps, glarified “This is the ‘You’ll be tortured if you do it’ glare. I did rip a guy’s skin off once.”
“Yeah, we all know that Willow,” Amy replied, “Look, Willow, I promise - I won’t touch the cookies you just baked until the party! I told you I’d never do it again!”
“The skirt is supposed to be this short.” + Willow/Amy
“The skirt is supposed to be this short,” Willow assured Amy, who was tugging downwards on the offending piece of her costume.
“This isn’t a skirt!” Amy protested, “This is -... it’s a glorified belt. How did you convince me to do this again?”
Willow rolled her eyes, suppressing a smirk. “It’s not a glorified belt, it’s a skirt. And,” now she let the smirk show, “And you know how persusive I can be when I want to.”
Amy let out a frustrated growl, “Don’t remind me. I shouldn’t have agreed to that bet.” Amy closed her eyes and took a deep breath, then, “WIllow, yes, I loved Wonder Woman as much as you did. Gal Gadot can pull this outfit off - I can’t. Especially this - thing.” She gestured at the skirt, still grumbling.
Despite herself, WIllow burst into giggles. Amy crossed her arms in front of her chest, glaring at her girlfriend, and it only made Willow giggle more, harder. After a minute, Willow took several deep breaths and forced herself to stop laughing.“Amy, Amy, you look perfect. I promise.” She’d spent quite a bit of money on the cosplay outfit for her girlfriend after she’d won the bet, and it was an almost perfect replica of Wonder Woman’s costume in the recent movie. “You’ll have everyone jealous.” Jealous of Amy because of how good she looked in the costume, and Jealous of Willow for being the one dating Amy. “Besides, if you’d won the bet, you were gonna have me dress up in that black catsuit and go to the con as Black Widow.” Willow might have had the hair color, but she was pretty sure she couldn’t do that thighs of death thing Romanoff was famous for. Not even sure Buffy or Faith could pull that off...
“Which isn’t a skirt, now is it?” Amy pointed out, still grumbling a little. She took a breath herself, then looked down at herself. “I really look good in this? Not silly?”
“If I didn’t think you looked good in it, Amy, I wouldn’t make you wear it to the con. Promise.” She leaned in and gave her girlfriend a quick kiss. “Come on, we’ll be late.”

it’s online. that’s what i’m not excited about it
I’m worried, but Todd did insist single-player was going to be a viable option. But yeah, that part isn’t exciting. Still, Bethesda can’t be trying to stray too far from what they’re best at (I hope), because they’re not idiots. So I’m expecting lore-filled locations and characters to interact with and that there is some sort of narrative-quest.
I’m gonna stay pretty fingers-crossed, and I’m almost certainly not gonna buy it when it comes out (I don’t usually buy games soon after release - Starcraft II Wings of Liberty was one of my few exceptions) to find out what I can expect before I buy, but I do have some positive hopes and feels. Partially because I just *want* to be hopeful, but partially because I have enjoyed every Bethesda game I’ve played and I know they make good games and the E3 was promising.
justplainwillow replied to your post: As always, I remain in the minority Re: Empty...
Honestly, Empty Places is one of those episodes where i’m like ‘there is no one in the right here’. Buffy isn’t right, but she isn’t wrong at points either. Same goes for everyone else
Pretty much. And I always see this one-sided meta from people. Usually Buffy’s side, with no awareness of what was going on with everyone else.
The only people I see one-sided against Buffy are the kind of Xanderfans that give normal fans of Xander a bad name (i.e. the ones that are like ‘how dare Buffy not immediately sleep with Xander after he saved her life’ and shit like that, or the ones that make him magical perfect leader man or give him powers above and beyond Buffy’s abilities or stake Spike and Angel in their fics just to get them out of the way of Bander or bash Buffy for being a necrophiliac whore and shit like that - all things I’ve seen from some Xanderfans)

Soft spot headcanon
Amy, understandably, has a soft spot for kids of abusive parents, and even during periods when she might be ‘morally dubious’, she’ll protect and defend such kids with her life, if need be.
She also has a soft spot for single dads, at least the ones that are genuinely trying for their kids, since she could have been stuck in the system if not for her dad once Mommy dearest got Trophy-trapped
