I want to curse loudly in French and listen to Bon Iver on repeat. I don't want to have to worry about the play I have to read by tomorrow morning. I want to skip past being angry and just arrive at the conclusion, when we have both admitted we were wrong and we won't do it again (even though we will). 

I could vow to never hold other people up to the high standards I set for myself again, but we all know that wouldn't last. I always expect too much and receive too little when it truly counts.
