How I feel about this character:  Not really a favorite, don’t really dislike him either, I’m just honestly really neutral about him.  Also not a huge fan of his fighting style, mostly because Berseria seems to favor a more offensively oriented playstyle instead of the more counterattack-heavy playstyle that worked well in Graces, Xillia, and Zestiria.

Any/all the people I ship romantically with this character: No one.

My favorite non-romantic relationship for this character: Eizen, since they’re both just really good drinking buddies.  Also just worth mentioning those scenes of them sharing a drink or just drinking together are one of the few times we actually get adult characters in Tales relating to each other . . . as adults.

My unpopular opinion about this character: As I said in my answer for the other ask, I just feel like he’s kinda tacked onto the Berseria party.  His “honor” reason doesn’t really feel like a strong motivator for him, and once you do the final fight against Shigure, it really feels like there’s no real reason for him to be there either.  I just kind of feel like they could have written him better or at least given him a better motivation to stay with the party in the long run.

One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon: Honestly?  I just wish he was better written with a little more depth.  Maybe I’m just not paying close enough attention to the skits (I’ll confess, it’s hard for me to focus when they’re throwing around gender stereotypes constantly like they did in Berseria) so I’m missing something.  It certainly feels like I did.

Favorite friendship for this character: As said above, Eizen.

My crossover ship: I don’t really ship him with anyone, period.  But I do like the idea of at least his two-sword Rangetsu style surviving in one form or another until Rose gets her chance to use it in Zestiria.
