Actually, this is not Catullus 48, but it's what one of my students put on his test, and it was too pretty not to share.

In the Pride month I think we sould revindicate the bisexual icon that is Catullus. I mean, look at him, crying over Lesbia, and writing poems inspired by Sappho and telling how many kisses he will give to Juventius (as he did with Lesbia). He has a big chaotic bisaster energy. He’s a mood.

So I'm in my Latin class and my teacher hands me a book on Catullus to help me with my Research Dossier. "Alright," I think, reading through it casually. I turn some pages, read some lines of poetry, etc, etc.. AND THEN THERE WAS HARDCORE GAY SHOTA PORN. IN A BOOK. THAT MY TEACHER GAVE ME. TO HELP ME ON A SCHOOL ASSIGNMENT.
