First physical meeting since moving into facilities in March. Didn't know how to feel, except happy that I was there. I felt reasonably good, usual pain, but thats it. Had a support worker take me, and also support from Vangelina and Cheyenne. Wouldnt be a meeting without me getting a snore in... Vangelina woke me before I could get in another. Sorry... But its quiet, I'm sitting in a wheelchair that makes me slide to a semi-reclining position... Sleep is going to ensue! Which is why I I was reluctant to go to the Hall in a push chair. Walking in Integrity... It's great to have new tools to assist in doing so. I suppose that I appreciate it more since my circumstances have changed so much in the last year. A dear friend of mind has encouraged me not to dwell on the pastmemories, good or bad, but to instead make NEW memories. Especially good ones. And I have to admit, that I had not been thinking about making new memories. Just rehashing old ones. Stuff I could not control. Once I acknowledged that I had a problem, the easier it became to let that aspect of myself go. Blessings follow. Indeed, if I hadn't let go of my feelings of the past, my mom wouldn't have felt compassion enough for me to send me this tablet. I credit Jehovah for that, though. But to tell the truth, I am getting old enough now where you wanna hear your mom's voice, even if she's fussin' atcha. 2009 to 2019. Due to circumstances, I missed a lot of this guy growing up. Now he's in year 9, and taller than I am. Of course, everyone is taller than I am... I'm in a wheelchair! Anyway, I'm looking forward to guiding this kid, developing his artistic talent, and basically hanging out and watching superhero movies. I love both my kids so much, and I commited a great sin by letting them both out of my sight and life for so long. Things have changed now, and I promise to do better. Be better. Give better. . Coming along nicely, eh? Doesn't itch anymore, which is good. Don't worry, I'll groom it for the Memorial. I thought about C. T. Russell-ing it, but it wont be long enough in time. I may Barry White it, just save the sideburns by lining everything up cleanly, giving it a cleanly defined shape. Get rid of the stuff under my nose tho, cause its so darn patchy. It will never come in worth a care, so I will shave the lip, save the corners of my mouth, because it comes in great. Some of y'all have endured some terrible things, both in the past... and here in the present. Many of y'all are finta have stuff done to you... it's just that the scenario isn't quite set yet. What will you take from it? How will your trial make you a better person than before? Will you allow your trial to change you for the better, asking Jehovah to help it mold you? It's not Jehovah bringing the trial, but he allows evil to be done to us to help our trials be of encouragement to help others. There is nothing wrong with Jehovah allowing us to be tested. He said that nothing would befall us that we truly cannot endure. So if we are enduring something right now and we feel like its too much, it's a trial, yes, but it is something that you'll be able to to endure. Once it's over, you'll have experience to help others endure similar trials. Guess who came to visit me today?? I hadn't seen Kiwi in over 4½ months! She was so excited! But I think she was more excited to go for a walk than to see me... 😉 Nawl, but it was good to see her. She enjoyed getting up on the bed and having a good skritch. Wenkie looks a bit past Jupiter, but she's been really tired. I'm just really thankful that she brought me my powerchair.
