Welcome Back JWU!

The first day is over...take a deep breathe because the road to success has only begun. A lot of you are getting your feel for the classes, and a lot of you are anticipating getting you senior year over and done with, while the rest of us envy you. 

I want to kick off this school years first blog post by saying hello to everyone and I hope I meet you all throughout the year. If you see don’t hesitate to say hi, I may be on a mission to get somethings done but who won't be once things really get into gear. Again i want to Welcome the Class of 2019 to JWU and I can’t wait to see the amazing things you will bring to this campus. Know that you are capable of making a change here. This goes for all the JWU campuses. Really soon you will meet your campus bloggers on here or on instagram which is coming soon. Have an amazing rest of the first week everyone;)

YOU’RE ALMOST THERE!

It’s the last week before finals everyone. Don't panic because you have been doing great this whole year, and you are reaching the end of this chapter. Some of you are getting ready to walk across that stage and receive the degree that you have work ever so hard to obtain, while the rest are merely climbing to be where you are. Don't over think anything, but simple apply what you have been taught and what you have learned on your own and sore. We have three more days in class and two extra days outside of class to make the best of it. This is your chance to improve the minor things and possibly the major things as well. But whatever you do with this allotted time given, make sure you use it to the best of your abilities. Join a study group, talk to your professors, or make note cards; just don't over do it. PLEASE be sure to eat properly and get a good amount of rest because next week Tuesday and Wednesday is your last sentence to your Spring Tri of 2015 Chapter. GOOD LUCK WITH THIS WEEK JWU WILDCATS!

Lets Talk La Creperie!!!

I was recently introduced to this amazing addictive treat known as crepes. I’ve never had crepes before, and before going I kept asking people what they taste like because I’m always nervous when I try new things. It was a rainy day when I went to La Creperie with two radiant ladies of Omega Phi Beta and my friend Dejah, yet it felt like a beautiful sunny day...odd I know. La Creperie is located on Thayer Street in a small restaurant. I was a bit overwhelmed by their menu selection because not only was I new to the Crepe Obsession Train, but I was also just starting to like Nutella (its in most of their crepes). I was told I should order the strawberry banana Nutella crepe, but I found a mouth watering option...SMORES!!!!! My first bite was mind blowing and bursting with flavor. Now I’m no food writer, but the Smores crepe was divine. Not only does La Creperie sell crepes, they sell waffles, smoothies, and wraps. I recommend this little restaurant to any and everyone, whether its for a date or just a relaxing experience with friends.

Thank You JWU

This is my first Spring Tri at the JWU Providence Campus and I can’t believe how many events are going on right now. Finals are slowly approaching, and its as if all the worries and crazy antics are walking out thanks to Johnson & Wales #Wahoo15. I couldn’t ask for a better way to kick off our last few weeks in school. Not only did Wahoo15 bring joy to everyone’s soul, but so did the amazing weather we were graced with on Saturday during the carnival and concert by We The Kings. I don’t know about anyone else, but the carnival took a lot of my stress away and I was able to jump right back into my school work with no problem. More EVENTS TO COME!!!!!!!!!

JWU PROVIDENCE MEET THE GREEKS

Greek Week 2015: What an amazing way to make a not so sunny day Radiant with the beautiful ladies of Omega Phi Beta. I spent a great amount of time getting to know the ladies of OPB and Zeta Phi Beta and may I add that their intellect and conversation is just as blinding as their spirits. I was so happy to be able to attend Meet the Greeks and when it was over I was able to see the new member presentation for the ladies of Omega Phi Beta. I love the energy our campus greek life feeds to each other. They are truly one big family.

CONGRATS TO THE NEW MEMBERS OF OMEGA PHI BETA SORORITY YOU WERE ALL BEAUTIFUL AND RADIANT LAST NIGHT!!!
