She forced a smile, glancing at the taller male and nodded agreeing with his words, she knew she wasn’t actually alone - she simply felt that way. “I know. I have my family and friends but i still feel alone. Do you know that feeling?” 

"Of course," he mused quickly, head tilting to the side as he studied her, "simply a part of being human, because no matter how many people surround you, or how close to someone you get, at the end of the day all you're truly left with are your thoughts, and the mind can be a very lonely place." A split second of melancholy, before he flashed her a smile, "Trick is not to let it consume you."
