Headcanons for Omega! Hitoya, Jyuto, and Gentaro?
• Whether it's seen as stereotypical or not, Hitoya likes the good life. Expensive drinks, high-quality clothes, and more are all his standard of living, and he intends to keep it that way. He's too proud to let anyone spoil him, but that doesn't mean he won't go out of his way to do it for himself. Sure, he sometimes has passing thoughts about someone being there to treat him like a king and take some of the work off his shoulders— he doesn't need it.
• His age is a bit of a sore subject. Being in his mid-thirties without a permanent partner isn't exactly normal, and while Hitoya started out convinced he'd be happier with only himself to worry about, he's starting to wonder, deep down, if he should have thought about the future a little more. He's gotten used to looking after himself, and he knows that means it'd be hard to adjust to someone else taking up the role. There's no way he'd express those sappy feelings to anyone, though. That would be way too pathetic for an in-charge guy like him, Omega or not.
• He doesn't have any particularly strong feelings about his dynamic— there are pros and cons to being an Omega, but Jyuuto makes it work. The biggest annoyances that come from it are people making the constant "high-strung Omega" cracks and the never-ending assumptions that he doesn't have the backbone for his job, and he can deal with those. It's not difficult to get the point across that he's not to be underestimated, after all.
• His sex drive hits and hits hard. When he has a Heat, Jyuuto is out of commission for the duration of it, no exceptions. His cycles don't make him sick, fortunately, but he gets so insatiably aroused that focusing on anything but finding relief becomes next to impossible. He tries to avoid taking casual partners (as that can be a hazard in his line of work) and deal with it on his own, but every Heat still leaves him confined to his room until the biological need calms down enough for him to think again. The obvious "fuck like a rabbit" jokes are also very much not appreciated.
• Is he actually an Omega? No one's quite sure, and Gentarou is in no hurry to clear up the questions. His enigmatic behavior makes it hard to tell what he is, and while he'll thoroughly deny it, he uses low-grade suppressants to make his dynamic even more ambiguous. He prefers to live as anonymously as possible in that regard— after all, it's easier to be nothing at all than have to worry about things like silly instinctive needs and how lonely he is.
• He's prone to disappearing when his Heats hit. He'll claim some relatively believable excuse (like having a sudden burst of inspiration for a story that he simply must attend to), then spend the duration of his cycle with absolutely no one knowing what's actually going on. But as much as Gentarou tries to convince himself that he's better off not getting other people involved, when he's half-out of his mind on hormones and achingly desperate for someone, anyone to be there with him, it's hard to remember why he doesn't want to make himself vulnerable.
