🍔🍟🇸🇪 Circle K (★☆☆☆☆) — Review number 300! 🎉🎈🍾 — We usually don't review burgers from fast food chains, since they don't pretend to serve gourmet hamburgers. But Circle K in Sweden have stepped up to the plate with their collaboration with Swedish rap artist Petter and his burger joint Käk. They have designed a "Shut your mouth burger" (Håll käften-burgare in Swedish) with bacon, double cheddar, onions and dressing in a brioche bun. The main issue is that Circle K's sous vide prepared meat is mushy and tasteless, with a mouthfeel that reminded us of styrofoam. The bacon was soft but tasted alright, and the cheddar packed a lot of flavour even though it wasn't very nice. We quite liked the spicy dressing and their choice of brioche bun, but since it was cold it didn't really do much.
