K9′s Furever have many t-shirts, bags, stickers, and coffee mugs with all things dogs. if there is a breed of dog that is not represented in my store let me know. Newbury Park: K9s for Warriors Fundraiser
The Interact Clubs of Newbury Park, Thousand Oaks, Westlake, La Reina, Agoura, Oak Park, Oaks Christian and Camarillo high schools with support from the Rotary Clubs in the Conejo Valley, will be hosting the 1st Annual K9s for Warriors Fundraiser at Newbury Park High School Performing Arts Center on Sunday April 19th from 2 to 4 pm.
K9s for Warriors is an organization dedicated to providing service canines to veterans who suffer from Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) or traumatic brain injury, as a result of their military service following 9/11. By providing our military heroes with trained rescue dogs, warriors across the country can now better reintegrate into civilian life and live so with dignity and independence.
All proceeds from this fundraising event will be donated to K9s for Warriors with that mission in mind. This event will include musical performances as well as guest veteran speakers who will speak about their experiences.

Tonight (January 21) a re-run of "Seek" is the NCIS episode being broadcast. The guest star, Dex, is so lovable. His job is to detect IED's so that human beings are not killed or injured by them.
I read this book about MWD's (Military Working Dogs) after I watched that episode. You might enjoy it too.
One of my favorites is a rat terrier which they lower into submarines to search them. At his size, he is able to get into all the nooks and crannies in the ship.
A leading reporter offers a tour of military working dogs' extraordinary training, heroic accomplishments, and the lasting impacts they have on those who work with them.
Also in "Seek" - Gibbs thinks highly enough of McGee to take him to Afghanistan. And Sean Murray looks awesome in camo.
