Morgan's sunburn was starting to sting again, ah but it was so much fun outside today! He didn't get to make a sandcastle for the contest so he made one today, and yeah.... So worth it...

Beach it up! : Birthday Bash!

      Upholding Kerria tradition, we're proud to announce: A beach party! For a certain dorm head's birthday (be sure to give him some bday beats!). The party is open for all as long as they come in the cutest and/or fanciest swimsuit they can!

For this special day only: All drinks, even the alcoholic ones, are free! As well as food prepared just for today! Watermelons everywhere! If you want to have fun on the beach, chill in the ocean or even have some ~alone time~ on Sorbet Hill. Just relax, hallelujah! Have fun everyone!

Kerria's Next Top Sandcastle! : Conclusion!

  We must admit...it was a close competition! But alas, after intense staring and dramatic sound effects, we've found our winner!

Clyde Donavan with his submission of a rather unique sculpture (Could it be representing his inner turmoil? Who knows.). So congratulations on winning The Tiki Hut, hopefully you have some buddies to share it with, otherwise just ask some total strangers!

On another note, due how impressed we were with some of the entries. We've decided to give out Runners Up prizes! So: 

Deidara with his simply explosive art, which would've been the winner if it well...Didn't blow up. Good work regardless! For your reward: A years worth of watermelons! That means for the following year, you'll be able to have 2 watermelons a day! Woah!

Our other runner up is Kenneth (Kenny) Mccormick with his creative sand invention of not only pleasing people with an interest in female anatomy, but also doubling up as homes! Incredible. For his imagination, we're pleased to give him these snazzy sunglasses.

Hot. That's the only thing going through his mind right now. He hates going to the beach, he's never exactly figured out why, it's just something he's always disliked. Maybe it's the sand that gets in your shoes, or the BLAZING HOT SON. The fact that he's wearing a jacket probably doesn't help either, though, and he was getting a lot of weird looks as he struggled to walk in the heat. He figured it'd be a good idea to change so he does so.

As he walked out of the changing room, he shivered. He feels so... exposed...

Ah, the beach! What a wonderful place to not only woo the ladies, but a lovely way to scout out the most attractive males to form his brand new host club. He had to be discrete about it though; he couldn't risk scaring away any potential hosts or princesses by staring at them openly. Settling for building a sand castle, walking to and from the water to fill a pail from time to time, he started scanning the beach- was that a crab? This was his moment. His time to shine. Picking up the scuttling animal, he pointed to the nearest person, holding his crab proudly. "You there!"

Summer Bonanza! : Beach it up ! (prt 1)

Kerria's summer festivities were a go and the beach was opened up and flourishing among the excited populace. Students and teachers alike were taking it easy for once and setting their sights on the sun and crystal clear waters. Making themselves comfortable at a table underneath a large umbrella at the Sunset Boulebar (what a name), Aichi had invited Kai along to have a fun outing, of which came to a slow start before suggesting a game or two of Cardfight!! Vanguard. In fact, Kai thought he'd never ask (he had been looking forward to a rematch or two since they reunited). "--And that's 6 damage for you. I win this round." Setting down his hand with a triumphant smirk, Kai almost chuckled at the other's flusteredness, having been just so sure he'd pull a magical heal trigger to pull him out of a pinch... He should probably have given him some sort of praise however.. He had put Kai on the ropes before falling short during his turn, after all.

 "Not bad at all, Aichi. We haven't even been playing for that long at you're already on par with me. That's some skill you've got." Though considering they were playing Vanguard at the beach of all places was a bit counter productive. As much as Kai liked sunbathing during his usual afternoon naps on a nice public bench, for some reason, this sort of playful atmosphere just rubbed him the wrong way... Too many people in too little clothing may have had something to do with it.
