“You’d better run, then,” Yuuhi tells the bandits who ambushed them. The bandits are not the best she’s seen at their profession–she’s heard of better death threats, and they don’t look too intimidating. Pointy items waved in one’s face are less effective when one is from a shinobi village, where people walk around with mini-armories on their person. No one is even injured, beyond a few easily-healed bruises.
Reika has the personality to cow anyone, from what she’s seen, and Yuuhi trusts her to send off the bandits just through force of personality. Yuuhi moves among her fellow travelers, healing their bruises with a touch of her fingers. She keeps an eye on Reika and the bandits as she does so–she’s no shinobi, but she might be able to assist if it’s needed.
Reika is not amused. While not a registered shinobi by any means, that doesn’t mean she doesn’t have a way to deal with them. Silvers stare with a force to melt steel, narrowed in annoyance and temper.
“I understand desperation can drive a man to foolishness, but this is pushing it,” she snaps, arms folded defiantly. “If you’re looking for supplies, I’m afraid what we’ve got is set to be used. And if this is your means of using force, you’d best rethink your plan before I leave you all unconscious along the roadside. I’m hardly about to let you harass these people.”
As if to make her point, the healer unfurls her arms, holding up palms aglow with white energy, which she flares menacingly. Technically it’s just a show of chakra...for the moment. But she’ll put it to use if pressed.
“Now, I’ll say this once. Anyone makes a move, I’m going to grab ahold of you, and fry your nervous system until you’re a twitching, drooling mess. And all it takes is a touch. Now...is your feeble attempt at a hold-up really worth me leaving you completely defenseless along the roadside for a few hours? You never know what might befall you before your nerves stop misfiring...”
