Running into Kagome simply seemed like something they were destined to do. It was quite frustrating if she were being honest, but there was no sense in dwelling on such facts in the first place. Kikyo let out a soft sigh as she leaned comfortably against the wall, eyes shutting as she moved through her thoughts. Perhaps she could pretend she hadn’t seen her and the other would simply walk away, but she knew it wouldn’t be that easy.

Hand is raised to brush back her bangs as she shifted once more and opened her eyes to stare at Kagome. Given she was standing there in silence, she must be thinking of what to say to her as a greeting. It was always this type of awkward whenever they were around one another and it was something she wasn’t a fan of.

“What can I help you with Kagome?”
