it’d been a long day for forest. not a bad one, just a long one. he was exhausted and refused to cook because he was sure he’d give up halfway and burn it. instead he opted for a nice sit down somewhere that could provide him both alcohol and a meal he didn’t have to put any of his own effort into, something he was grateful for. he flagged down a waitress nearby, giving her a soft wave and a smile. “excuse me, when you have a minute, could i order please?” he said, mostly focused on the menu at this point. he could eat a house.
