//What is your stance on OCs?

{{I have nothing against OC’s, mainly, but I am critical of how they’re written out and developed.

I prefer OCs who can stand on their own merits and story.I prefer OCs with good, detailed and plausible profiles.

That said…

I don’t like OCs created solely for shipping, or they were created fine, but they’re confined solely to shipping interactions and shallow angst that are inconsistent with their original character map.

I don’t like OCs who are played and the author disregards their own headcanons just to downplay their muse for, yet again, shipping interactions.

Send "everything will be okay" to take care of my injured muse.

Kimimaro had over-exerted himself in a conflict yet again. The disease was taking more out of him than he thought it would. Fortunately, he was able to regenerate relatively quickly, so there was no evidence of the battle. Unfortunately though, he was confined to a bed. He hated it, he hated being useless. “I do not know about that.”

Kimimaro froze as soon as the question was answered. His feelings towards others were a thing he never discussed, preferring to keep the majority of his emotions inside, hiding them. He cleared his throat, not wanting to put forth any hint that he was nervous. “How do I feel about you?” Describing emotions was a thing he wasn’t good at. He was never entirely sure what he felt. “You offered me a new purpose, something different from what I had been doing. For that, I am very grateful. Also, I rather like being around you and very much enjoy the time that we spend together. You are very pleasant to be around and seem to legitimately care about me. I am still confused as to why you do, but it does mean something to me that you care.”
