When my brother was like 8 he had an OC named Deto (he loved anime) that he loved and drew ALL the time, and my mum kept all of it and now that he's 25 and hasn't thought about Deto in years im gonna draw his childhood pride and send it to him. One of the best things about Deto is he literally has every damn color of the rainbow on him, and i am having a BLAST doodling this and coloring

Quick tip: if you plan to make character designs or comics, a good thing to do is practice. Basically, you draw the same character a hundred times.

The characters are Scaler or "Single-foot" from the Saurian coast-project and Kaile from the Rift!

He is Vilmas brother, and her apparent opposite. He’s timid, quiet and scared of a lot of things, often seeking comfort from Vilma. He is not, however, fond of her sisters cranky personality, and often tries to cheer her up. His necklace is a memory of a time when the siblings lived near the shore, where Kaile watched seabirds. He still has a fondness for them today.
