honestly. be a magicphobe. it just makes the family dynamic better. like she doesnt know but her wife and brother in law are aasimar (dnd god kids (not really kaitera lore different)) and brother in law is also the most powerful spellcaster alive and like. her ass still going "its unnatural. its weird. youre weird." def a cultural thing for them; shes from a place where its uncommon and ostracized and theyre from the complete opposite end of that spectrum
