Samuel was walking down the hall towards Kaitlyn's office. He had a easily recognizable footstep pattern. The clunk of his heeled loafers and the aggressive tap of his golden cane. He walked into Kaitlyn's office with a stack of papers held in his handless arm against his chest. Césaire was draped around his neck as if he was a decorative scarf.
"I need you and Alice Rose to handle these tasks, Alexander's orders. I am taking a brief medical leave." He said abruptly. "And I am taking the snake with me." He grunted sternly, knowing the secret meetings between Césaire and Kaitlyn, but he did not know the reasoning.
Kaitlyn quickly rose and aggressively marches towards him with killing intent, but just as suddenly her marching became a calm pace.
"Going off to kill the furnace's hope so Quietem can finally crumble? Such a waste of power. You'll only end up killing yourself at this rate where everyone lost hope." She stared at him coldly while aggressively reaching for the papers. She had an unnerving smile on her face. "I bet Nathaniel is proud of you. You're just like him, a monster destroying others lives for your own power and amusement. hahaha He and I even shared a good laugh together at all you do. Those women crying as you force yourself unto them- music to our ears~ Those ignorant citizens blaming foreigners for what their own government is doing to them!~ It's utterly hilarious!~ Soon everyone will die!~ What a finale! You'll be a perfect demon, Samuel... your brother can't wait to see you in Hell. He has a lot of fun ideas to try~"
While the hateful glare seemed to be Kaitlyn's, the way she was speaking seemed to be someone else. It didn't match any of her other identities and masks. No, this came from another soul deep within. In fact, the words that could be heard wasn't matching up to what her lips were doing. Whatever she was actually saying, likely vulgar insults and anal rape threats, was being drowned out by this other voice in his mind.
