Kala Nera is fishing village, and gratefully to tourism it became one of favourit turistic destination in this area. And not only tourists, but also Greeks, who consider this part of the region of Pilion the most beautiful for relaxation and enjoyment. Beaches, tavernas, the village itself is very beasy on weekends, especially on Sundays, when local Greek people come to Kala Nera and other beaches on this side of the Peninsula.

This beach is located only few kilometers south from Kala Nera, little village situated on south-eastern side of Pelion Peninsula, in the Pagasitik bay, 18 km away from Volos, significant port of this area.

BOUFA (KOROPI) BEACH NEAR KALA NERA, PELION, GREECE

On the beach you may rent the sunbeds and sun-umbrellas, or buy soft drinks in local beach bar.

Completely different beach on this side of Pelion, Grece. MARASIA BEACH NEAR KALA NERA, GREECE.

↙️ If you search for sandy, wide, but semi-organized beach, clean and not crowdy, you are on the right place.

We found this beach quit accidentally, while we were driving by the coast, from Kala Nera to Milina, and if you continue to the top of the peninsula, you will come to this very nice, sandy, wide beach. For more information open the description below the Youtube video.

While we were staying in Pelion area, in Greece, we went round and around, visiting DIFFERENT BEACHES FROM KALA NERA TO MILINA. There are a lot of beaches, all so different comparing to others. Some wild, some organized. Some sandy, and some with a pebels or a small stones.
