Her parents were brutally murdered in front of her, her friend was sniped, and later she was shipped to one of the Yam'rii camps. She thought it was over, little did she know, she was being shipped to another labor camp. The soil was infertile with little pieces of dying grass, the clouds were ominous, and there was blood spilled on the dead soil. Blood, but no bodies. She didn't even want to know where the bodies went. Like all of the ones that were spared, Lar'ita was marked with a number and had a tracking device put on her cheap uniform. She couldn't speak Kaleeshi, practice her religion, or speak freely at all. The Yam'rii taught her simple commands in Basic, although if she spoke more than what was taught, she would've been executed publicly for "getting smart". Baths were once a week, in unsafe showers with other Kaleesh.
Here's my first entry for kaleesh week 2025 English isn't my first language.

After seeing those things, Qymaen swore that he will make sure none of that happened again. Especially to one of his children. After seeing those remains in those blood stained cribs in the hospital, the hospital the Huk took over a few months ago, he felt sick. It would've been bad enough if the pups had died from disease, but they didn't. He knew they didn't. They were eaten. The huk are eating kaleesh pups.
Carefully, he swallowed, trying not to make a sound, his mind went back to it again and again, sending shivers through his body and making him sick. He had thrown up twice this evening. He felt weak and tired. But this sight alone was enough to keep him calm, to keep him sane. His daughter, sleeping soundly in her crib, she looked so sweet, with her dark red skin, her dark brown hair, her mother's nose. He smiled and stepped closer, carefully lifting her up into his arms and sitting down against the wall with her. She started to make little whining noises, kaleesh pups were usually quiet in the first few months of their lives. She just started to make her first attempts at being vocal. Holding her against his chest, he sighed, then yawned and finally relaxed for the first time this day. He felt her pawing at his shirt and heard her mewl quietly. "Mh? What's wrong little one?" He pushed one finger against her hand, letting her grip it and play with it. "So tiny..." his hands trembled a little, his mind reeling back to what he saw. No. He had to focus on this moment. She went still in his arms, now looking up at him with her big golden eyes. His eyes met hers and slowly, he felt himself tear up. "I'm not letting anything happen to you. Ever. I'm keeping you safe." He mumbled, pulling her closer against him. Only opening his eyes again when he heard the door creak open.
"Hey" Illia whispered when she sat down next to him. "Feeling any better?" She looked exhausted but she still had that smile on her face. The smile that Qymaen fell in love with.
"A little" he swallowed, looking at her. "I just... I can't stop thinking about it." He looked down as their child started playing with a strand of his hair. "She's so precious."
Illia gave him a soft kiss on the cheek. "Yeah she is." Her head came to rest on his shoulder as she yawned. "Are you coming to bed soon? I don't think I want to leave you here alone." She mumbled, closing her eyes.
He kissed her temple and smiled softly at her. "I know, but I don't think I'll be able to sleep much tonight." He carefully stood up and laid his daughter back in her crib after giving her forehead a kiss before turning back to Illia. He sighed and rubbed his face. "They were only a few months old, just like her..."
Illia wrapped her arms around his waist and rested her head against his chest. "She's safe here. She's safe with us." She threaded one hand into his hair, massaging the back of his head. "Our pups will be safe."
Qymaen pulled back and looked down at her with big eyes. "Pups? Are you...?" Illia's smile told him everything he needed to know. "I love you."

Taking advantage of the fact that canon doesn't look over here to do whatever we want!
What are the rules?
The rules are simple, but should be followed to ensure the happiness of all participants and make my job as archivist easier!

I'm just jumping around with these whoops.. also this is just a thumbnail, who knows if I will do a proper version of this. Also, the designs are not final by any means - the front kaleesh is one of the mothers of my storys main characters (Quireel). She still needs a name... her mask is kinda supposed to be some sort of sabertooth cat with horns and the fur thing is supposed to resemble a lions mane. But as said, I'll work on these designs still. The other kaleesh is her brother and Quireels uncle.
And the background spooky fellow... that's Skarakkis The Red, a yam'rii general who was in charge a lot in that side of the war. He also is quite major character in the main story and whoo boy, there's a lot about that bug too.
