So now that it’s been out a while, thoughts on 76? Will Red be visiting West Virginia?

y’know, it’s funny you should ask, lol…

Since I’m lame & couldn’t come up with a cool new OC for Fallout 76, I’ve just been playing as Red. (I’ve since thought up a few potential OC’s for this game, but they’ll have to come later.) I’ve actually been having a ton of fun with the game. I mostly play by myself, since I don’t really know anyone on xbox, but I’ve teamed up with random people a few times. I’ve made it to level 60 and I’m pretty much near the end of the main story & I’ve explored just about every location, so I’m running out of stuff to do, but I’m in no rush to finish. I know Bethesda’s been really shitty lately with how they’ve been handling things, but the game itself is actually a lot of fun & I would definitely recommend it.

Please start making a companion tutorial so others can see how it’s done properly YouTube videos seem to miss a lot

TBH, I wouldn’t be able to explain it any better than what’s currently available. The resources I listed here https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/articles/1009 are your best bet to learning how to get started, the rest is just trial and error. You can also explore how other companions function by searching for their alias in the objects window and reverse engineer them.

So I know Red and Charon are more a couple than Dweller and Guard these days, and good for them... but ghouls are known for having a smell like rotten flesh and worse. How does she deal with it?

(I’m assuming you mean Ruby, not Red, lol)

Y’know, I would think most of the wasteland in general probably wouldn’t smell all that great. & to Ruby, who spent 19 years in a hole in the ground with re-circulated air, I’m sure the second she stepped out of the vault, her nose was attacked by all sorts of new &...”interesting” smells, lol. But I figure she gets used to it eventually, just like every other wastelander. So Charon probably doesn’t smell all that much worse than anything else after a while. I imagine he smells a lot like leather & gunpowder.

I would do the Junktown quests, there’s a lot of good XP, little combat that your companion can’t handle and two new companions to recruit. Plus lots of weapons and armor.

The only person I’ve found to recruit so far has been Ian. I don’t even now who else is available as a companion. >_> I’ll guess head back to Junktown then next time I boot up the game.

I’m that guy who would meet Roger and no matter what stick by his side. Not a loud person, never in the way, but I would unofficially declare myself his best, if not only, friend. Through thick and thin, I’d be with him. I know he’s good somewhere deep down and so I pal around with him, because it’s better to have one person who believes in you than no one.

Oh my sweet summer child...he would shoot you without a 2nd thought.

Oh dear, I’ve said too much, lol. ^^; I do have one, but I don’t like to broadcast it all over, since I have siblings & parents who use the internet & I would die if they ever found my n/sfw stuff. So uh, try to keep it on the DL, but you’re welcome to look through it, as long as you’re 18+.

Just to be clear also, it’s not solely my stuff that’s on there. It’s just a place where I reblog any n/sfw stuff I like, but don’t wanna put in on my main. I DO post art there sometimes, so if you wanna find it, just look under the tag “my art.”

Wait, Roger DIED?! When!

(Quick reminder to anyone reading this who doesn’t know, Roger is Red’s older brother.)

In official... “canon” (meaning Red’s main storyline), Roger died along with his family when the bombs dropped. But I got an ask a while back putting forth an AU where Roger survived as a ghoul. So anytime someone asks how he would react to anything or anyone we know from the game, it would be the ghoul AU Roger, since the real one died 200+ years ago with the bomb.
