For Hoshiya no Tarou, life under the sea was all he knew. He enjoyed watching the waves move and churn, and how the sun’s rays bounced off playful schools of fish.

The neighbouring Kojin had the most intriguing stories to share about the world above the ocean’s surface, and this fuelled Tarou’s wanderlust. In an attempt to earn permission to walk upon dry shores, he picked up a hunting lance. However, it quickly dawned on him that he was not made for combat and returned home discouraged from the bruising experience.

Tarou’s grandma came to his aid shortly after that, and with her support, the young Raen agreed to learn the art of healing instead.

Most of the time, this is a nigh impossible feat for anyone who basically isn’t one of three people: Shae’a, N’evadal and Crimson Bull. Trust is hard to come by and he’ll go to great lengths to avoid getting close to someone, though his nature says otherwise. If he does get to know them, he’ll teach them hand speak. (Sign language). It was his first language and for many years, how he communicated with his mother and tribe. It’s something sacred and special to him that he won’t easily give or show to anyone he doesn’t deem trustworthy enough to have it.

For Suna, it’s being able to not wander away. Suna has immense issues with being sedentary for long periods of time and with his time in Garlemald and what they did to him, he fears being in one place will mean all of that will catch up to him. But what he found is that if he trusts enough, completely and wholly, he’ll stay and be rooted in their life. Such is the case with Silene. Suna started to trust him, and not by Silene’s fault, he wandered away, afraid that he’d cause the elezen harm or worse. Now, he stays by Silene more than anyone and can be found usually asleep beside him. ♥

[E1. does the way they do things portray their internal personality?]

Yes, Kiefie is actually pretty easy to read. Although she denies it. If you’d visit her hut more than once you may notice the stack of papers on her table can either be cluttered and thrown about, scribbles and scratches with no direction.. or, they may be neatly stacked and weighed down a flickering lantern; doodles of many things like plants, daggers and hearts lit up by the fire. It depends on the time of her life, because its true that anxiety can change you. Like day and night, she can be a beach dwelling troll with waves of hair neatly down her back as she holds an outstretched pose, neat with her hands carefully placed, or a feral menace with wild eyes and a pair of teeth made to maul. Its not that she has two personalities, its a cycle of internal and external. Secret is she’s most happiest when shes a wild thing with sticks and dirt cluttered in her hair, so when she’s picking dirt from under her nails, smiling widely to show off pointy teeth with warpaint running down her face, big pupils of mushroom dreams and a smear of dirt on her elbows and knees thats when you know shes comfortable and feeling herself.

Incredibly Energetic~!

Dylan is a bundle of constantly bursting energy, she’ll run circles around just about anyone. 

If she’s been instructed to standstill the girl will practically vibrate with her need to constantly move about. So, stand back once you give her permission to move again, because she’ll ricochet off the walls like some kind of bunny shaped projectile.

[4. Does their name mean something? Either in another language or something else?]

So Risri, originally came from the name generator in Star Wars Galaxies. I liked it so much I have used it ever since in every game I’ve ever played. I have a Risri that I play. Sometimes she becomes my main and sometimes she does not but I always use it.

As to what my head canon for what her name means? I originally had a thought that her mother named her after her best friend and a sister combining the two names. However, one night in an RP with @taralaskelsarrar, it came up and I ran with it that it was actually after a place important to her father’s family. SO somewhere there is something that sounds like Risri in Azeroth as a place.

Her last name Elthron came from a name I used use in other games when you could put in a last name. I liked the sound of Risri Elthron together. So when I saw how I could do it here with TRP it was naturally the name I chose. OF course this was before I got into RP deep and understood Kaldorei naming conventions. SO, the story of her changing her name came to be and her original last name I did not have for a long time then one day I picked Kel’serrar as a elven sounding name.  Kel a derivative of Kal, and Serrar meaning blade so cheesy Starblade. I’m a dork what can I say.

Dylan is an incredibly naive pacifist ♥

Dylan believes that everything happens for a reason and that there is good in everyone, sometimes you just need to be patient.

After all that has happened to her she decided long ago that holding onto pain and despair was nothing more than a waste of time and energy. When everything and everyone can disappear within an instant it’s much better to let things go and enjoy the time you have. 

It would be incredibly hard to convince this literal ray of sunshine that you’re the bad guy and it’ll more than likely be her ultimate undoing.

Yes! Dylan can’t believe there are people who can be so blatantly rude to people working in the customer service industry. Why do they need to be so mean to a person who is just trying to make an honest living? Can’t everyone just be nice to one another? Unbelievable!
