“Doesn’t look like much of a fight anymore,” she mumbled. 

But she had to take a step back and bite her tongue when she saw the extent of his injuries. Concern flashed across her face and she couldn’t shake the knot in the pit of her stomach. Sure she saw the man sprawled out and the blood but she hadn’t expected it to be this bad.

At his remark she stopped to listen, it was quiet except for his labored breathing. And after scanning the area for anything that seemed out of place, she came up with nothing. “I doubt I’m in any danger. It looks like whoever went after you is long gone,” she said as calmly as she could manage.

My muse in a relationship

Possibly. I think Bebe would feel more at ease if she felt safe in that relationship, as in, if she felt everything was stable. Otherwise, she probably wouldn’t feel comfortable with it, since it’s a huge step.
