kalz-one please check your phone
1) Would you rather people think that you’re stupid but nice, or really smart but mean.
Well, I've kindof experienced both, and I'm not too fond of either, but if I had to choose, I guess "smart but mean". I really hate it when people think I'm incompetent.
2) If you could become any ocean creature, which would you choose?
I'm gonna use the patronus given to me by pottermorewandlore, and choose the sailfish!
3) If you could go anywhere you wanted for a week, but you have to leave right now without a chance to pack anything but your wallet and phone, where would you go?
I honestly don't know. I'd love to visit anywhere that's moderately comfortable in terms of weather and is either close to the ocean or in the mountains.
4)What’s your favorite thing about yourself?
My stamina.
5) What is the strangest thing you’ve ever done?
I don't know about the strangest, but I once took a shower in the rain.
6) Got any songs you would recommend?
C2C's "Down the Road"
7) Know any bad puns?
Nope. I am terrible at puns.
8) If you looked into the future and saw yourself sitting in a jail cell, how would you think you got there?
I probably seriously injured someone when defending myself. Kinda like that one post that's made a round, if anyone ever decides to come at me one day, there will be no mercy.
9) What is your favorite candy/sweet?
Right now? Starburst.
10) What cheers you up when you’re sad?
The idea that I am full of potential and opportunity. And no matter how old I get, that's not going to change.
11) What was the last movie you watched, and would you watch it again if given the chance?
Saw Disney's "Bears" nature flick yesterday. It was alright. Probably wouldn't bother seeing it again.
And I'm tagging all of you. If you're reading this, you're tagged! Copy the questions, and answer them yourself.
I love going out with Kalee because we do impulsive stuff too we were at the mall until it closed at nine, the decided "hey, let's hang out at a bar!" Because we weren't ready to go back yet, and we instead decided to see a movie and were at the 10:05 showing of Winter Solider! I'm guessing we're gonna be some of the fest too see it plus we're seeing it before midnight so THTS exciting! And afterwards we're probably going to hang out a bar or scoop some out because we're already somewhat planning her 21st (I turn 21 a month before her)
Story time? Story time.
Okay so my sophomore year in high school, we got a pretty intense blizzard round about the time we take our trimester finals. I had a biology test that I HAD to do well on, or else I’d pretty much bomb the class.
Now our driveway’s connected to a main private road, and to get to it, you have to drive uphill. But after about a foot and a half of snow on top of the foot and a half we already had, it’s pretty much impossible to leave without shoveling it all out of the way, which takes anywhere between two and three hours.
JFC, in Minnesota, we’re used to expecting anywhere between two to three decent blizzards a year, so big snowfalls aren’t that big a deal. The problem is that it takes awhile for all the snowplows to get around to all the roadways so people can go about their lives. Naturally, the plowers start with the major roads then go down the list of importance.
Private roads don’t rank very high on that list.
So, back to my biology test. School’s been delayed two hours, and we’re all expecting them to just call the day off because not only is it powder city out there, it’s cold as balls. Like, -25 cold as balls, and it’s already 9 A.M. But at the last minute, we get the call that school’s still on. Naturally, I go to my dad and ask him to start shoveling out the driveway so I can get to school.
Get this: he says no. And when my dad says no, there’s typically no reasoning with him. So now I’m stuck at home freaking out because I’m afraid I’m going to miss this test and fail biology.
So naturally, like any sane teenager would, I close my door, turn off the baseboard heater, pull on my snow pants, jacket, snow boots, gloves, hat and backpack…and I jump out my window.
Took me fourty frickin’ minutes of trudging to get into town, and five minutes of riding in my then-pastor’s van to get there, and once I did…my biology teacher had postponed the test until the next day.
And that’s the story of how I snuck out of my house to go to school.
