Is kamesame totally free? I know kaniwani only has levels 1 to 3 (?) for free but anything more needs a subscription.
It's free and runs its infrastructure through donations. I have seen comments from the site owner that if they do ever add a paid model, it's more of adding quality-of-life features for paid users.
