Hi~ it's the anon that asked about the waterworks thing. Thank you for your answer! I knew you would be the right person to ask and as a new fan of JG, I'm happy I still have someone to fangirl with too hehe. Anyway, let's talk about JG some more since there are things I'm stll very curious about. Like, why is Kami-sama and Tazaki usually paired together? Is it because of their similarities? I mean, I'm not really complaining since they are my beloveds but just wondering hehe. Have a nice day!

Hum... as Joker Game hardly has any official pairing (though some are more pupular than others) it’s not always easy to say from where a certain pairing had birth, especially since Kaminaga is also OFTEN paired with Miyoshi.

Kaminaga though also had a couple of interactions with Tazaki so those could have inspired the KamiTaza (かみたざ) pairing.

First of all we see them in the preview for Kaminaga’s episode:

In the manga, in Kaminaga’s episode, we’ve a flashback of Tazaki and Kaminaga having a swordfight won by Kaminaga as Yuuki tattled out Tazaki’s weak points (the swordfight was in the novels as well, though in was in the Asia Express story and in it we’ve no idea if the adversary is Kaminaga/Izawa Kazuo).

Also, it’s not really a big interaction but always in the manga, when Tazaki explains Sakuma how to manipulate people’s choices Kaminaga comes close to them.

A manga cover shows Kaminaga and Tazaki going out to make shopping... though Miyoshi and Amari are also there.

Then there are the official illustrations. In an illustration Kaminaga and Tazaki are together.

While in other illustrations they’re close...

...or smiling at each other...

...or seated at the same table...

(note that they have illustrations also while they’re with other characters and, as I said, Kaminaga and Tazaki also get paired with other people...)

Last but not least in Joker Game the stage Tazaki was captured and Kaminaga saved him, the two of them escaping together, Miwa Shiro drawing two matching pictures to represent their escape (pictures are meant to be seen side by side but Tumblr won’t let me do it...).

Always Miwa Shiro had them close in some arts...

I’ll skip the drama cd because, even if they interact in them, their interactions don’t seem particularly supporting of the pairing... at least to me. Other might see them differently.

Long story short, even if they aren’t an official pairing, there’s enough to work to make fans wish to pair them up... though I guess for them to decide on KamiTaza in place of KamiMiyo or something else... well, that’s purely a matter of preferences...
