so my mum picked a bunch of kamquats and brought them with her when she came to visit us for the holidays.  i had recently called one of my friends an 'uncultured kamquat' and found it funny because i have no clue what kamquats were. i told her then she got all defensive.  "kamquats are very cultured.  they come from the chinese.  they're asian fruits. how dare you.  are you not cultured!?"

and it's like, mumplz.  we're asian, but not that asian.

or are we? idk

all in all, tried kamquats, and still stand that 'uncultured kamquat' is a pretty good insult.  my mum disagrees because kamquats are veery cultured.

and since i said it. i am not.

i am an uncultured kamquat.
