We have school dance here but I think it is different from school dance in Japan or the USA.

Schools (from kindergartens to highschools) usually hold a school dance to celebrate Tet Holiday (our Lunar New Year). Each class will design their own performance (dance choreography, song, costumes, background, etc.) and perform before the whole school.

Here is a fun video about our Tet Holiday -> here. There are some exaggerations but I think you can feel the joyful and festive atmosphere of Tet. It's our longest holiday to celebrate a new (lunar) year full of luck, good crops and happiness.
