im going to expand on these because thats the type of person i am:

bladed weapons and bludgeoning weapons had mostly fallen out of practice by act one. firearms had long been established by that point and while using a sword was still seen around, using a gun was more accessible and practical at that point. swords were mostly ceremonial weapons and rarely used for serious combat. despite this, the college of rihulziir that jack and anuba attended still trained their alumni in the use of bladed weapons. albamuro academy in act 3 teaches the equivalent of fencing, but firearms are used for actual combat and self defense. now onto the actual question lmao:

jack has the sword and knife autism. he can use a gun well enough, hes no sharpshooter, but he doesnt like it. he will choose a hunting knife over a rifle every day. he had an entire room in his house just for swords and knives. he most commonly used are throwing knives, but his favorite was his 2 handed heavy sword. originally it was a zweihander, but im thinking of changing it to a claymore. not sure. either way, he owned both types of swords.

and no, anuba doesnt use weapons. she carries a knife for utility purposes and thats it. her beast form is strong enough to kill someone with a backhand if she’s mad enough.

amalia (jack and anuba’s college friend, blacksmith/dragon blood mechanic) uses a horseman’s pick that she made herself. she also made jack’s two handed sword

jack trained dawn how to fight with swords, and when they were 15 they returned to the sun wardens hideout and found their twin blades (currently their blades are liuyedao, though that might change eventually as i develop rassvet more. not sure)

kané (who ive posted one time, im so sorry kané. dawn’s situationship who who got magical zombified on accident) used kukri blades for basic utility as well as combat

the demiking uses a broadsword and scythe made out of rainbow light, a gift from his godly parent

sparrow uses a standard issue albamuro flintlock pistol, which he was supposed to return when he left the academy but didnt because he liked the gun. his gets confiscated and destroyed when him and walter are captured by albamuro the first time, but he steals another one from an inquisitor he killed. he also carries a utility knife

walter also uses an albamuro pistol, but he added a suppressor and custom sights to his (which arent zeroed in so its basically impossible for anyone who isnt him to shoot it. cillian hates this). he stole his from an inquisitor he killed as well. he carries a utility knife and a pink butterfly knife his ex girlfriend libby bought him. he used to have a nomadic hunting rifle but it got destroyed after he was possessed

cillian dual wields heavily customized albamuro pistols, as well as a flintlock rifle. shes a gun nerd and has multiple different types of firearms.

just for fun: cinder would use a halberd and a crossbow with fireworks minecraft style, xolakaal would just fucking bite you to death, daksari would poison your food with enough radium to eviscerate an elephant, and cadaver is a pacifist
