valentine's day 2015

so kanalratten and i hung out most of the weekend - on friday she saw me spend $51 on food no problem (i returned $11 of it on saturday) and we wandered around stores and bought things, and her vday present to me (besides paying for me to get food TWICE!!!! TWICE, EVERYONE) was candy and this lil 7" enderman that we/i named hyoshin. hyoshin the enderman. heohoahahoeho. if i get the bigger one i'll name him hyuk but that's for another time

we didn't take any selfies, maybe cause we were cold and miserable and laying around (i didn't even get up until noon on saturday) and like, while we were in walmart it sleeted/rained and we didn't see any of it?? but i really enjoyed myself even if all we did was watch tv and wander around stores (i bought a new coffee mug! and a bitty elf eyeshadow palette for $1.50!)

i just really hope i can go down to NC to visit her sometime or another!! i almost cried after she left but i kind of threw myself into cleaning my room, oh my god, she can confirm, but the dogs had peed in my room and the litter box was a mess (the baby still hasn't gotten the hang of covering his poop but that's another story) so it smelled and was just generally dirty in here -- gross!! -- but i'm finally about done...

:'( the only thing i can think of for this to not be sad is that this is just the beginning! hopefully!

oh shit you did a superb job at placing the shadows and transition between sharp and soft lines!!! way to go!!!!!! you can try using a grid to get everything appear exactly at the right places, but that's up to you

thank you!!! of all the drawing things i've always been best at shading. i'm not sure about a grid but i think i need to try things! i know people have outline shapes (like faint circles) when starting things so i think i'll try that too. he looks more like ukwon from block b than himself lmao

I'm make a comment about Hyoshin but.. honestly one is surprised.

\ o/ this is why i made my mom watch his mv cause she kept peeking at the drawing and was like "let me see you know i don't judge you" but then i was like "WANT TO SEE WHO IT IS" and it was great bc she was going to leave like 2:15 into the video but i was just "THERE'S 3 MINS LEFT!" and like 3:30 in she started ignoring me bc staring at the mv god bless
