Mitsuri was in an awkward situation. Her girlfriend, Shinobu, and her were both polyam and in an open relationship. When it came to the open aspect, they mostly just made sure to tell the other where they had a date or hook up. It was rare that they shared too much information about the hookups.
But now she really needed to tell Shinobu about the hookup she had last night with the woman she ran into at a bar. She had met this woman many times before and conversation was easy to have and one thing lead to another and they hooked up.
The problem was that it was Kanae. Kanae just so happened to be Shinobu's sister. And Kanae definitely seemed down to hook up again.
“Hey love,” Mitsuri said as she leaned over Shinobu's desk.
“Hello. Do you need something or are you just being affectionate?”
“We gotta talk.”
“About?” Shinobu closed her laptop.
“Don't be mad.”
“Mitsuri. Why would I be mad?”
“I had sex with Kanae.”
Silence.
Shinobu looked at Mitsuri like she was waiting for Mitsuri to say more but Mitsuri had nothing else to say.
“Why?” Shinobu asked.
“Because she's pretty and nice?”
“But she's Kanae.”
“I mean you two are copies of each other.”
“Well then,” Shinobu sighed. “Just don't forget; you're mine. Not hers.”
Mitsuri chuckled, “Wow, is that jealousy I detect?”
“Hmm.”
“Shinobu,” Mitsuri kissed her cheek. “It was just a hookup.”
“And will it repeat?”
“Maybe.”
“Just make sure you clean yourself of her cooties before kissing me or anything,” Shinobu huffed.
Mitsuri laughed. “Will do.”
