I am so lucky to have found you. I’ve been alone for so long... I thought I would never find someone.

In all honesty, at first you seemed like all the others. Just another person to spend a few days with, maybe a week or two, fucking and doing whatever else we wanted. Then I, or the other, would leave and never look back.

Or I’d have to slit their throat. That’s happened a few times before.

But you.... you’re different. I see something in you. And... you see something in me.

i’m not sure what. Is it because we’re both broken, in our own ways? Do you think we can mend the damage? Or at least soothe it?

Whatever the case... I want to stay and find out.

These thoughts strolled through Kane’s mind as her eyes started to droop. The moon was high in the sky, providing illumination for the bedroom. Angie had already fallen asleep, snoring softly. Kane hadn’t drifted away yet, so, for another minute or two, alone with her thoughts. Gazing into that face she had grown to love. The blonde smiled, reached out, and lightly brushed a finger across her lovers cheek.

“So lucky,” she whispered, just as sleep finally claimed her.

As a writer, I always wanted to write about anything that inspires me such as music, people, art, personal stories and many other things. While working as an intern for Citrus Rap, I was just that girl who would write daily posts about whose album is releasing, upcoming visuals about to drop and etc. After spending almost a year doing that,I felt like I had to do more, no I NEEDED to do more. On February 9th, 2016, GemTalk 💎was born. GemTalk is a segment which I created where women can proudly showcase their creativity to the world.You can basically describe GemTalk as a safe haven for every women of any color, race, size to comfortably talk about their art/gift. So far, I have only interviewed five gems (shown above) and each one of them has inspire me everyday to go after what I want in life. They showed me how to break boundaries and to do whatever the fuck I want to do because we are all blessed with a gift & we need to spread it to those who need the strength or courage to go after it.I would absolutely love it, if everybody can check out my work & show love to these gems above. Also, I have an upcoming project that I feel like everybody is going to admire and relate to, so stay tuned for more information 🚺on that coming very very soon.
